Since its publication in the beginning of this year, the book “Fuzzing for Software Security Testing and Quality Assurance” by Ari Takanen, Jared DeMott and Charlie Miller has been on my wishlist. Why wouldn’t it be! It’s the first fuzzing book which mentions right there in the title that fuzzing is meant for software testers, a point which I have been suggesting in each of my presentations on the subject across all testing conferences in India.

Finding my name as a paper presenter on the subject of fuzzing at CONQUEST 2009, Ari Takanen wrote to me and was kind enough to send me a signed copy of the book.

Look out for a review of the book on my blog very soon.

    Congrats and please arrange for a meet of testers in Bangalore and talk about Fuzzing in software testing with us. I bet our Bangalore testers group is a better platform that those conferences 🙂

    @Pradeep

    Yes, we can definitely have such a talk at Bangalore. Let’s arrange for a peer conference wherein the focus is on topics that relate to non-functional testing. BWST-1 was a wonderful experience.

    I can’t say anything on the conference front, because it is the conference which fetched me this contact and the book 🙂 Moreover, I look at conferences more from the perspective of networking with testers.
